Book Description
Have we over complicated, over systematized, and over formalized making disciples? When our hearts are changed by Christ, it’s natural that we should want to help others come to know Him too. And while Scripture clearly sets forth how to do so, modern Western society has formalized, professionalized, and systemized disciplemaking to a point that it seems too complicated to practice. What happened to the simple, heart-to-heart ministries of the New Testament? In Walk with Me, you’ll return to the essential biblical practices that help people grow as Christ-followers in simple, slow, and deep ways. Learn how you can connect with your neighbors, coworkers, or anyone you want to reach with the gospel in ways that are relational and Spirit-led. You’ll learn five kingdom principles that will reshape how you can pass on the faith: In heart-to-heart ways By keeping it simple By going slow By building deep By living on mission

Book Description
A simple, imaginative story depicting the complex emotional reality of a girl whose father no longer lives at home. The girl conjures up an imaginary companion — a lion — who will join her on the long walk home from school. He will help her to pick up her baby brother from daycare and shop at the store (which has cut off the family’s credit), and he’ll keep her company all along the way until she is safely home. He will always come back when she needs him, unlike her father whom she sees only in a photograph — a photograph in which he clearly resembles a lion.

Book Description
She was born the 20th child in a family that had lived in the Mississippi Delta for generations, first as enslaved people and then as sharecroppers. She left school at 12 to pick cotton, as those before her had done, in a world in which white supremacy was an unassailable citadel. She was subjected without her consent to an operation that deprived her of children. And she was denied the most basic of all rights in Americathe right to cast a ballotin a state in which Blacks constituted nearly half the population. And so Fannie Lou Hamer lifted up her voice. Starting in the early 1960s and until her death in 1977, she was an irresistible force, not merely joining the swelling wave of change brought by civil rights but keeping it in motion. Working with the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), which recruited her to help with voter-registration drives, Hamer became a community organizer, women's rights activist, and co-founder of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. She summoned and used what she had against the citadelher anger, her courage, her faith in the Bible, and her conviction that hearts could be won over and injustice overcome. She used her brutal beating at the hands of Mississippi police, an ordeal from which she never fully recovered, as the basis of a televised speech at the 1964 Democratic Convention, a speech that the mainstream partyincluding its standard-bearer, President Lyndon Johnsontried to contain. But Fannie Lou Hamer would not be held back. For those whose lives she touched and transformed, for those who heard and followed her voice, she was the embodiment of protest, perseverance, and, most of all, the potential for revolutionary change. Kate Clifford Larson's biography of Fannie Lou Hamer is the most complete ever written, drawing on recently declassified sources on both Hamer and the civil rights movement, including unredacted FBI and Department of Justice files. It also makes full use of interviews with Civil Rights activists conducted by the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress, and Democratic National Committee archives, in addition to extensive conversations with Hamer's family and with those with whom she worked most closely. Stirring, immersive, and authoritative, Walk with Me does justice to Fannie Lou Hamer's life, capturing in full the spirit, and the voice, that led the fight for freedom and equality in America at its critical moment.

Book Description
Just as Jesus spoke to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, so too will He speak personally to the reader as he or she “walks” with Him. In Walk With Me, Jesus says, “Let me take you to that moment when I will enter your heart.” To walk with Jesus, to be with Him, to listen to Him, to hear Him, makes it possible to become more like Him so that little by little our hearts and minds reflect Jesus. “I want to let you know who you are to Me and to My Father. And to tell you that We need you. To you, beloved one, God gives His life and calls you into His very life. Come and see how our life together grows from simply being together each day.” God has His perfect plan for each of us; each of us is completely in His mind, and His will for each is perfect. The “way” of Jesus is the holy way, the wonder-filled way, the way that bears much fruit in our life and in the world. “I am the Friend who, through our friendship, will bring you further into eternal life.” It is the life He alone brings and nourishes. Give Him that moment to be with Him, to listen to Him, to hear Him, to let Him touch your life, and to let Him lead you. (233 words)

Book Description
This story is going to tell how and why destiny had a man with no literary talent or writing skills, along with a very limited vocabulary, become an author of five best-selling books. This book will be the culmination of all the books the author has written. According to the FBI and New York Organized Crime Task Force, he is a high-profile member of the Mafia. Never before has this man talked or written about the Mafia. In each of his five books, he is evasive when it comes to the Mafia allegations brought upon him by law enforcement. During the writing of this book, he became inspired to be completely truthful about his involvement in the Mafia. He says that he will do this without being a snitch, which he refers to as a rat. During his admission, he only speaks of people who are deceased or people who have become rats. The author is going to show how one man becoming too powerful within our political structure would be able to jeopardize the democracy of the greatest nation on the face of the earth. This fascinating man's story is thrown off the rails when his insight tells him that our nation is under siege. He goes on to tell how and why our nation has been recently threatened to have its democracy overthrown. Could it be possible that one sick, deranged man with too much power could jeopardize the future of our great nation? The book offers some humor and many messages, but most of all, it shows that with an unbreakable determination in one's belief, your destiny will be fulfilled. This story has one incredible, unexplainable event that takes place, which will keep you on your toes throughout. You will read about this phenomenal occurrence in depth when the story from "Beyond the Beyond" is told. So strap on your seat belts because you are about to take an incredible journey of an old man's quest to bring forth the message from "Beyond the Beyond" and fulfill his destiny.

Book Description
Walk with Me is a story about the transformative power of friendship. In friendship, we feel accepted, valued, and understood. This is the story of two people from different walks of life who discovered they were more alike than different. Ultimately, they realize that it is the love of God that transforms us into being who we are created to be; beacons of hope and love. This story, contemporary and compelling, calls the reader to look introspectively into how daily decisions form our families and neighborhoods, stretching to our global community. Walk with Me probes the social questions of our time in how we view and sometimes refuse to see our neighbors, while oftentimes loudly professing a Christian platform for living. Ultimately it is our actions that speak loudest. Walk with Me, takes an honest, hard look at who we profess to be, who our actions reflect we are, and who we are called to be. It addresses racism and the challenging social issues of our time through the eyes of love and responsibility. Walk with Me is a book that will make you laugh and cry and create a desire to seek the very best in each day you are given.

Peter and Celeste choose to travel as one on the lifelong journey to the King’s City. They are blissfully in love and bound to each other by the Cords of Commitment. Shortly after visiting the Moon of Honey they discover that the journey proves much more difficult than they expected. When they find themselves laboring through the Swamp of Selfishness, crossing the dismal Plains of Distance, and nearly becoming separated by the River of Unfaithfulness, their love for each other and for the King is challenged. They must choose whether to continue on together, not knowing if they can be warmed again by the Kindling of Affection, or visit the Valley of Cut Cords to journey alone once more.
