Book Description
Chapter I is a character narration giving an introduction to the story, I began the story with these characters to introduce the readers to the primary character, (Simon Tupple) and used character narration to begin the story. I used the same characters in the last chapter, (chapter 30) to give continuance to the story by giving; an interactional confrontation between these seemingly unrelated characters and the primary character. By intertwining the narratives characters with the primary story character_ I attempted to not only give the story a continuance for a future book, but also add to the suspense by suddenly integrating these characters. Chapters 2 thru 29 are devoted to the actual story as pertaining to the primary character and the central characters. As early as the second chapter I laid a foundation for the understanding to the reader as to why Simon Topple thinks and behaves in the manner in which he does. I used early childhood trauma and negative adult's beliefs to negatively affect Simon's capacity for understanding. I choose to use a religious controversy to show that human concepts are quite subject to error. Also I didn't want to use unbelievable events to entertain, but rather conceivably believable events that can and has occurred to entertain the reader. I used college students, HighSchool students, and regular townspeople for central background and secondary characters. As Simon brutally murders people he believes to be enemies of God and society there is a profound meaning to his actions and not just random acts of violence. Although Simon could be viewed as a fanatical Psychopathic murderer, I tried to lead the reader into sympathizing with him. I made humor and wit a major part of his personality. I also exposed his vulnerability in his loneliness, and his desire to love and be loved. By the setting being in the small town of Perry, I attempted to seclude the characters and the events so as to keep the focus on the characters and their setting. Even as Simon eliminates his adversaries I develop real life' crisis for the central characters in an attempt to authenticate the story and lend credibility to to it. I use Simon's brand of dark humor to tone down the gory, graphic murders being committed, and also attempt to use poetic justice' to make Simon likeable instead of hated. I've laid the foundation of the story and will use that foundation to build on in any future potential furtherance of the story.

Book Description
God wants your mind, the devil wants your mind who's going to win? That depends on you and what you put in your mind, there are so many things the devil is using to get the mind of who ever that gives him the space to come in, God is always interested in our mind and so is the devil, The devil tries to get you through your mind, even when you're reading the Word of God. I am appalled at the number of people who say, "Will you pray that I can get interested in the Bible?" Then they will go on to say, "I used to have a tremendous hungering, but now I fall asleep when I read it." Or maybe they will have trouble with their mind wandering when they try to concentrate on the Word of God. The devil does such a good job of fooling our minds that we often don't realize who our enemy is.

Book Description
New York Times bestselling author Jeff Rovin has held readers in breathless suspense with his Tom Clancy’s Op-Center novels. He has created compelling characters with vividly rendered emotions and actions. His page-turning thrillers have addressed questions of good and evil in our times. Now, Rovin confronts the question of Good and Evil on the ultimate battleground. A human soul hangs in the balance, and thousands of years of religious teachings depict only the beginning of the fight for dominion over man. Psychologist Sarah Lynch is stunned when one of her young patients hangs himself. Evidence reveals that Fredric had become a Satanist. Intending to solve the puzzle of Fredric’s death, Sarah attempts to conjure the devil—surely then she will understand what the teenager was thinking. Sarah knows that belief in God and the Devil is a construct of the human mind and that people contain within them both good and evil. Her own family is the perfect example. Sarah’s mother is still in denial about her dead husband’s alcoholism, but acts as a wonderful grandparent to the son of the family’s live-in housekeeper. Her alcoholic brother bounces from girlfriend to girlfriend and job to job, but is always there when Sarah needs him. And Sarah herself? She lost her faith more than a decade ago, during a personal crisis. But she is dedicated to giving others the help she did not receive. Even the nun who is Sarah’s best friend cannot break through Sarah’s shield of cynicism. But Satan can. The Devil himself rises in Sarah’s office, sometimes a being of dark smoke and sometimes a creature of all-too-perfect, seductive flesh. Most disturbing is Satan’s claim that only by following him can people find real happiness. In the Devil’s theology, God is a brutal, jealous bully. And as God and Satan battle for Sarah’s soul, Sarah comes to believe him. She forgets that he is the Master of Lies . . . .
