Book Description
That prayers are answered nearly all the human race believe. But the subject has been beclouded and often made ridiculous by inconsistent superstitions. This book is a modest attempt to clear up some of the errors. Its record is as accurate as impartial observation can make it. God is not bribed. Laziness cannot bargain with him. But the prayers of the righteous and of repentant sinners availeth much. Desired ends are gained by prayer which cannot be gained by any other method. The daily experiences of devout persons establish that fact conclusively. The reasons and the methods which produce the results seem hidden, and they often bewilder the investigator. God's thoughts are far above our thoughts. But we can trust our daily experience far enough to retain our confidence in the potency of prayer. It is, therefore, a profitable and comforting study.

Book Description
"Faith that Heals: Stories of God´s Love" by Jane Teas, Melinda Holland, and Georgianna Jackson The Centers for Disease Control funded this study to explore healing and faith. At the University of Carolina we began our academic study of divine healing with the assumption we knew what faith was, and that people would use God and prayer as coping mechanisms to make pain and suffering tolerable. Columbia was an ideal place to study the power of faith, with more than 800 churches to serve its 120,000 people. We often heard people in the hospital hallways talk about God and healing. But as we listened to over 100 people describe what it feels like to be healed by God, we began to understand that divine healing is far beyond a convenient coping mechanism. Some of the stories were almost identical to those described in the Bible, but in other stories, God seems at the beck and call of a believer, responding to desperate pleas, to shameful reproaches, and on occasion, amenable to bargaining health in return for faithful service. In our vignettes of healing, we found that God was active, not just a passive recipient of prayers, using visions, dreams, and whispers heard in the heart to heal and transform pain into a lightness of spirit. These stories tell of healings, but they also give 44 points of view about the nature of God´s mercy and grace.

Book Description
Divine Healing Made Simple is a training manual for the supernatural life. It not only covers the topic of divine healing, but deliverance, raising the dead, making disciples, proclaiming the kingdom of God, dreams, fasting, words of knowledge, healing in the work place and in health care, and it takes a prophetic look at the future of healing. Isn't it time someone wrote a book that gives honest answers to the difficult questions you have about healing and the supernatural? Why are my prayers ineffective when I ask God to heal someone? Many people have prayed for my healing - so why am I still not healed? Does God want me to learn a lesson through physical suffering and sickness? I was miraculously healed through prayer - why have my symptoms returned? This book takes a bold new approach by addressing the questions about healing that many authors have avoided so far. Three chapters are devoted to the problems of why some people are not healed and why some people seem to lose their healing. The author answers these questions by sharing revelation he received through dreams from God. He also teaches from his many personal experiences and shares the observations of other healers. This is the first book on healing to harness the power of Facebook. By hosting discussion questions on Facebook, the author has collected the wisdom and experiences of hundreds of different healers. This may be the most comprehensive book on healing ever written. Praying Medic has worked as a paramedic for decades. He has prayed for many of his patients and seen them healed. You'll be encouraged and given hope for healing by the testimonies and dreams you'll read about in this book.
