TH E S E are the words of our Lord Jefus Chrift: and the occafion of them feems to have been as follows--He had been preaching the gofpel in Jerufalem, and the neighbouring cities of the Jews; and had, by the purity of his doctrine, and the holinefs of life, together with the nature and number of his mirafacles, convinced many perfons, that he was the MeJJiab that was to come, and that they were not to look for another.
