Existential Threat. Climate change is the biggest existential crisis that humankind has faced. In the last 100 years, we have ruined the carbon cycle using fossil fuels, namely, coal, petroleum, and natural gas to build our civilization not taking into account the catastrophic impacts of climate change can cause.
