Auf die übergreifende Erörterung des Prinzips Reihe - Reihe als Stadtbaustein, der lineare Raum und die Ecklösungen, etc. - folgt die systematische Darstellung der unterschiedlichen Typen. Innerhalb eines jeden Typs werden Varianten nach verschiedenen Erschließungsformen, Geschossigkeit etc. unterschieden.
