Many proclaim it was God's will for them to be poor and if they tried to better themselves they would be going against God's will for their lives. Thus, if you do not have an abundance of things then you are not spiritual. Consequently, people live above their means, often by going into debt, trying to keep up the appearance of prosperity. Even though they look prosperous to the outsider they are in financial bondage. These are the two extremes when dealing with finances. The truth is in the middle. It is the purpose of this book to bring a balanced Biblical view, leading to Financial Integrity. 3 John 2:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. God is truly interested in our finances. The Lord is as interested in our financial prosperity and physical health as He is in our spiritual prosperity.
