Each Kit Contains:

1. Two books - one for the tutor and one for the student. (More books may be ordered for small group work.)

2. Preview Guide - provides a short synopsis of the story and offers pre-reading activities.

3. Activities - includes a materials checklist, directions for each activity, targeted skills, and activities with answer keys.

4. Sight Words - developed based on the designated reading Level of the kit.

5. Poem - a poem to provide an additional literacy piece to engage the child.

6. Suggested Reading List - a list of books that are either by the same author or on the same topic as the book in the kit. Some suggested books are meant to be read to the child.

7. Reading Log - a way for children to keep track of the books they read at home and at the tutoring session.
