Literacy Network (Lit Net) Membership

Lit Net 2008 Eligibility Requirements:

Your organization must:

  • Provide literacy services;

  • Be a non-profit organization;

  • Offer services at no cost or for a minimal fee;

  • Have an interest in strengthening and enhancing your mission and programs; and

  • Pay a one-year Lit Net membership fee of $100.

As a member, you are entitled to:

  • Quarterly meetings with opportunity to network and explore topics of interest covered in Membership Meetings held throughout the year.

  • Posting of your upcoming events, job openings and volunteer needs on Cleveland Reads’ website.

  • Complimentary training and technical assistance with new programs and program expansions.

  • Annual recognition of your volunteers.

  • Preferred referral site for Cleveland Reads’ trained volunteers.

  • Password to manage your volunteers using Cleveland Reads’ Samaritan database.

  • Complimentary copy of the 2008 Directory of Literacy Services for Greater Cleveland.

  • Opportunity to receive new and gently used adult and children’s books and other materials.

  • Access to materials at the Northeast ABLE Resource Center.

  • Free admission to the 2008 Literacy Conference.

    Lit Net memberships are an excellent value.
