Book Description
What makes a successful London business woman leave it all behind to live on a Greek island? Living in a delightful, English country village, she had everything most people dream of. After a supernatural experience while on a Greek island, Barbara believed that she was to leave it all behind and move to Greece. But why and what exactly would she do when she got there? Seeking guidance at the outset, she had asked God to answer three very practical questions. Why Greece of all places? How should I do it? When am I supposed to do all this? The miraculous answers to those three questions were to change her life forever. She left behind the city banks with the security of a regular income and initially lived the simple outdoor life on a campsite on Paros. Having given away the money from the sale of her house before it was even sold, she had limited funds and no idea how she would live. Did God really tell her to go, or was she just deluded?

Book Description
The Aegean disputes between Turkey and Greece represent one of the longest-standing contemporary conflicts in existence. These disagreements encompass a wide range of issues, including the seabed, maritime areas and airspace of the Aegean. The territorial status of a number of islands and rocks, as well as specific demilitarization conferred upon Greek islands in the Eastern Aegean under international treaties, is also a matter of dispute. The Aegean disputes, which still remain unresolved, are a major source of tension and conflict in Turkish-Greek relations. The stalemate in reaching a settlement is liable to give rise to new frictions resulting in an acute strain on relations. From time to time the disputes have erupted into crisis bringing the two countries to the verge of confrontation. These disputes are immensely complex and involve a broad range of interrelated issues with complicated political and legal aspects. This study represents the first attempt of its kind, providing in a single volume a comprehensive review and analysis of the legal and political aspects of the Aegean disputes which constitute a unique case study in international law, involving two neighbours in the Aegean that share a unique history and geography.

Book Description
The war in Ukraine has highlighted Europe’s urgency to diversify its energy supplies and reduce dependence on Russia. While, in such context, energy security has become a top political priority for Europe, energy resources from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region have drawn European countries’ renewed attention. Boasting abundant oil and gas reserves, the MENA region will likely play aleading role in Europe’s current energy crisis. While MENA exporters’ ability to increase their supply is limited in the short-term, more resources are likely to be available in a longer-term perspective. As Europeans are scrambling for alternatives, this Report analyses the different implications for a number of MENA exporters of fossil fuels. As these countries have become even more central to Europe’s energy security, assessing their prospects is of paramount importance, including not only their short-term role as suppliers of fossil fuels, but also their opportunity to accelerate along the path of the greentransition. How is the current energy crisis affecting the role of MENA hydrocarbons producers as Europe’s energy suppliers? How will Europe’s needs in additional resources redefine energy geopolitics in the Middle East and North Africa? Which new prospects for their green transition?
