Book Description
Photography without a doubt is an appreciated art by most people and as such it stands alone in being able to move the human heart for that moment in time and for always. There are heart rendering moments in life that can bring tears of joy or tears of sadness - they will last forever. Sometimes people are curious about where a photo was taken or what did the entire surrounding scene look like. So for those curious ones I have added a few photos where an assistant took some pictures for me as I worked giving you the viewer a better overall look at the surroundings. With all the primary images I have included the location and perhaps a few comments regarding the scene or situation. I have written books on my style and a technical book on black & white so you will not find that here, but rather a small body of work that conveys my love of this medium. Having said that, the purpose of this book is to introduce you to my work, comment on a few technical matters, illustrate the difference between photography as an art form and commercial work and show you some insight on locations. Sometime photographers stumble upon a location, but mostly we choose them and this book will explain the important things to consider. If your interest is to improve your photographic work, this book will help you with composition, perception, structure and color.
