Sotto la spinta della globalizzazione, la capacità di muoversi in modo competente in situazioni di contatto interculturale guadagna sempre più significato. Ci si chiede perciò, in che modo promuovere nella scuola e nell’università quella competenza interculturale nella didattica del tedesco come lingua straniera, divenuta negli ultimi anni una specializzazione chiave. A fronte dell’attuale situazione italiana nel campo dell’istruzione, il presente volume si propone di fornire suggerimenti per una didattica della lingua straniera orientata in senso interculturale a docenti e/o studenti interessati, sia all’interno che al di fuori dei paesi di lingua tedesca.
