My Life’S Treasures...
Author: Kathleen Luksza Morrissey
Publisher: AuthorHouse
ISBN: 1456722050
Category : Poetry
Languages : en
Pages : 70
Book Description
I used to love writing poetry and short stories back in high school- St. Teresas Academy, East St. Louis, IL. Class of 73! And I hadnt written anything since! I got married right after graduating, started a family, and went to work. And then there were some major changes in my life. After thirty five years of marriage, my wonderful husband Jack was taken from me. He did not survive cancer. I fell in love again, suffered a broken heart (at my agecan you believe it!) lost my niece and friend Patti to cancer, lost my dear friend Laura to a car accident, met a new fella, and then lost my dear son Terry, who died suddenly in a motorcycle accident! Through it all, Ive found that writing it down has saved my sanity; and sometimes documented my insanity, as you will no doubt observe! Included here are a few poems from my high school days, most much more recent, as well as a few submissions from my son Shaun, my sister Melissa, and my good friend Jim. Hope you feel it, and enjoy!

Time, Talent, Treasure
Author: Jose Espinoza
Publisher: Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.
ISBN: 109803564X
Category : Body, Mind & Spirit
Languages : en
Pages : 148
Book Description
This book is about the three elements we deal with in our human life from the moment we are born until the moment we die: Time, related to our life-time existence; Talent, in reference to what we become with our abilities in our human potential; and Treasure, the result of the two previous elements, and as a reward for what we can produce in this life as a human being to possess, to manage, and to serve in the progress of life as individuals and for the benefit of humankind. In Time, Talent, Treasure, Jose E. Espinoza conveys the awakening and awareness of the components of a human being as a life equation. Regardless of where we come from, or how we ended up here in this place and time, the reality is we all have a lifetime to exist. We all become a talent in some way to survive and serve others. And we all end up acquiring a treasure in our lifetime as a result of our talent. In addition, what do we do with these three elements, how do we manage them and benefit properly out of our time, talent, and treasure for a significant, meaningful life with purpose
