Book Description
Who is Christ? Most Christians know what He was in Biblical history, but many don't know who He is today or His purpose in and for each person's life. The Bible defines Christians as those who live lives patterned after Christ. But what exactly is that life? The Bible admonishes the believer to live, "Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." --Hebrews 7:2 The 1937 fourth quarter Sabbath School Lesson on the Sanctuary is included as an appendix.

Book Description
Ellet Joseph Waggoner (1855 – 1916) was a leading Seventh-day Adventist preacher and writer. In his famous book Christ and His Righteousness, he writes, "Christ has been set forth by God as the One through whom forgiveness of sins is to be obtained; and this forgiveness consists simply in the declaration of His righteousness (which is the righteousness of God) for their remission. God, “who is rich in mercy” (Eph. 2:4), and who delights in it, puts His own righteousness on the sinner who believes in Jesus, as a substitute for his sins. Surely, this is a profitable exchange for the sinner, and it is no loss to God, for He is infinite in holiness, and the supply can never be diminished." Chapters include: 1. How Shall We Consider Christ? 2. Is Christ God? 3. Is Christ a Created Being? 4. God Manifest in the Flesh 5. Important Practical Lessons 6. Christ the Lawgiver 7. The Righteousness of God 8. The Lord Our Righteousness 9. Acceptance With God 10. The Victory of Faith 11. Bond-Servants and Freemen 12. Practical Illustrations of Deliverance From Bondage

Book Description
The loud cry of the third angel of Revelation 14:9 is the last message according to the book of Revelation. There will be no greater message sent from God than this precious truth-the message of Christ our righteousness. According to Revelation 18:1, this final message will lighten the earth with the glory (character) of God, bringing to a close God's final work upon the earth. This book presents a solid foundation for the various aspects of Christ our righteousness, comparing popular teachings on the subject with the Bible and the writings of Ellen G. White. It points out the importance of incorporating these principles into our own experience. When God's people truly take hold of this most encouraging and hopeful message, it will lead to genuine revival and reformation. Then God will pour out His Spirit and enable us to proclaim the Loud Cry of the Third Angel.

Book Description
Righteousness is the gift that God is going to give us so we can be in right standing with Him. The Righteousness of God in Christ concentrates on telling us how we are righteous because of God's righteousness. Having, knowing, and letting God's righteousness operate in our lives is essential to living a better life. The dread we sometimes feel is alleviated as we learn to trust and live right because of His gift of righteousness. Being in right standing with God is more than following a set of rules that we do not look forward to at times because of the consequences. Consequences that sooner or later make us feel like we were missing out on life because of a neglected obligation or dissatisfied results. The righteousness of God in Christ will strengthen us as we learn to accept this gift that releases us to a more fulfilling life. It is the gift that people need and deserve to know about.

Book Description
Since the time of the Reformation, considerable attention has been given to the theme of justification in the thought of the apostle Paul. The ground-breaking work of E. P. Sanders in Paul and Palestinian Judaism (1977) introduced the "new perspective on Paul," provoking an ongoing debate which is now dominated by major protagonists. Foundational theological issues are at stake. In this New Studies in Biblical Theology volume, Mark Seifrid offers a comprehensive analysis of Paul's understanding of justification, in the light of important themes including the righteousness of God, the Old Testament law, faith, and the destiny of Israel. A detailed examination of justification in the letter to the Romans is followed by a survey of the entire Pauline corpus. Seifrid's analysis incorporates a critical assessment of the "new perspective," challenging its most basic assumptions; an evaluation of the contribution of recent German scholarship; and a reaffirmation of the "Christ-centered" theology of the Reformers. In this wide-ranging exposition of the biblical message of justification, Seifrid provides a fresh, balanced reworking of Pauline theology. Addressing key issues in biblical theology, the works comprising New Studies in Biblical Theology are creative attempts to help Christians better understand their Bibles. The NSBT series is edited by D. A. Carson, aiming to simultaneously instruct and to edify, to interact with current scholarship and to point the way ahead.

Book Description
In this important study Hays argues against the mainstream that any attempt to account for the nature and method of Paul's theological language must first reckon with the centrality of narrative elements in his thought. Through an in-depth investigation of Galatians 3:1-4:11, Hays shows that the framework of Paul's thought is neither a system of doctrines nor his personal religious experience but the "sacred story" of Jesus Christ.
