The summer of 2005 was the most important time in my life as I accepted Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. June 26, 2007, the birth of my only child, Hunter, was the second best day of my life. He was thriving neuro-typically, simply thriving the first 15 months of his life. In the span of a year, my son went from a happy, engaging, social child, to a child trapped in his own little world. I was nothing short of hysterical, confused and angry. I was desperate for answers as to causation and avenues of recovery for Hunter s sudden onslaught of neurological challenges. Nothing made sense to me as I was led to therapies only to manage his sudden affliction with autism. I was broken, completely broken and cried out to God endlessly.
