Book Description
You can accomplish anything you want in your life. You are SO much more than you may ever have believed, or thought possible. We all have incredible potential, but we get stuck when our early experiences create subconscious programs, limiting beliefs, self-judgments, and emotional triggers. All these things hold us back. We get stuck in negative patterning – in our relationships, work, finances – and in our life, in general. It’s said that the subconscious occupies ninety-five percent of our mind, versus only five percent for the conscious part. So, which of the two do you think is holding you back from everything you want in your life? In A Soul’s Perspective – How to Finally Heal and Transform Your Life, Dwight Dale Miller shares many of his crucial life events, the lessons he learned from them, and how he overcame their effects to transform his own life. As you read this perceptive book, you too will learn to see life from a soul’s perspective. You’ll gain insight into how powerful you truly are, how to access that power, and how your emotions and inner programs are holding you down. You’ll learn why we attract certain experiences and patterns – and how we can break free of the ones that don’t serve us. Most of all, you’ll learn how life actually works. A Soul’s Perspective – How to Finally Heal and Transform Your Life shows that as our awareness improves and we let go of everything that has been holding us back, we are finally able to heal, break free from patterns, manifest what we desire, live our purpose, feel healthy and vibrant, and – possibly for the first time ever – become more happy, joyful, and fulfilled.

Book Description
The essays collected in this volume form a multifaceted discourse on religious, philosophical, historical, ethnocultural and sociocultural, literary and linguistic issues. A multicultural approach to the problem of the soul allows the presentation of it on a microscale, focused on national and regional specificity, as well as on the macroscale, oriented toward universal values which can be observed in the cultures of peoples distant from each other in both time and space. The book consists of 28 chapters, addressing the fundamental themes of human existence, which find expression in cultural texts in both colloquial and artistic language, and which have a prominent place in anthropological, psychological, metaphysical and theological debates.

Book Description
This book explores the notion of the human psyche (‘soul’) and its continuing usefulness in the background of the ongoing and always accelerating techno-scientific revolution. The main argument here follows the assumption that this revolution, while not necessarily being a threat to humankind, is often blind or ignorant as to its subject, the ‘human being’. In the first chapters, the reader is invited to reflect on the notion of ‘thinking’ as a phenomenon of consciousness that transcends merely ‘having thoughts’. Relating thinking to consciousness requires reconsidering the phenomena of ‘inspiration’ and ‘ecstasy’. Provided that such a thing as ‘inspiration’ exists, it makes sense to revise the solipsist or substantialist account often given of the human mind. The book defines inspiration as a ‘clairvoyance of one’s psyche’, and ecstasy as the experience of this clairvoyance. Next, a case is made for synchronicity experiences as a key to a better understanding of the human psyche. While being enigmatic all throughout, synchronicity experiences, both on the individual and on the collective level, help overcome both subject/object and body/mind dualisms. It is not likely, though, that the solution they could offer will be readily accepted by (what is called) ‘science’ today, since it challenges one of the latter’s basic premises, ‘causality’. As a more concrete example of a condensed synchronicity experience, the author dwells on ‘physiognomy’. In the final chapter, death and suffering are discussed as extreme, and therefore relevant, experiences of consciousness. The book interprets death in terms of ‘enhanced subliminality’, and ‘suffering’ as unconscious resistance against maturing. Generally, this book explores a psycho-philosophical tradition, rooted in Romantic thinking (from Schelling and Schopenhauer until Klages and Jung), which has hitherto been unjustly neglected, if not repressed, by mainstream materialism and positivism. It makes a strong case for an intellectual account of the soul.

Book Description
Dreams and skills get lost in the daily struggle combined with life's storms. Lost is that inner connection within where we find our inner self that knows things, has our true desires, and often knows where life will or ought to go. It is that source we find our daily transcendence of problems, transformation of life and connection with purpose and destiny. That core place is the Soul. Soul view is an examination of typical perspectives and ways of living life without this Soul. Then, through description and self inquiry, you'll find how to access, connect, and love that inner Soul self. Dr. Bunch is a therapist and the author of several books on the soul, dating and relationships, and soft bipolar mood disorder. His approach is a Jungian and spiritual approach that allows all to find simple and practical direction. This book is both book and workbook combined. It will served as a starting point for many hours of personal reflection leading to greater consciousness of yourself and the meaning of your life.

Book Description
Reveals myth and “otherness” as keys to restoring self, nature, and society • Shows how myths contain medicine to restore wholeness amidst trauma, exile, sudden life change, disability, illness, death, or grief • Synthesizes lessons from shamanic practice, quantum physics, alchemy, soul poetry, wildness, social justice, and the author’s lived experience • Discloses the blessings of outsiderhood and the gifts and insights gained and contributed to culture by those who are marginalized and outcast There is an “other” that lives within each of us, an exiled part that carries wisdom needed for ourselves and the culture at large. Having survived disabling polio as an infant, Daniel Deardorff knows the oppressions of exclusion and outsiderhood. He guides readers on an initiatory journey through ancient myth, literature, and personal revelation to discover our own true identity. These 10,000-year-old stories contain sacred medicine with insights that release imagination and restore wholeness amid trauma, exile, climate chaos, disability, illness, death, and grief. Illustrating how archetypal figures of the Other--the Trickster, Daimon, Not-I, etc.--hold paradox, Deardorff teaches us to reframe disparities of self/other, civilization/ wilderness, form/deformity and transform the experience of being outcast. Synthesizing lessons from shamanic practice, quantum physics, alchemy, social justice, and his own lived experience, Deardorff affirms the disruptive and transgressive forces that break through dogma, conventionality, and prejudice. He discloses blessings of outsiderhood and gifts to culture by those who are marginalized. Through mythmaking (mythopoesis), the experience of Otherness--cultural, racial, religious, sexual, physiognomic--becomes one of empowerment, a catalyst for human liberation.

Book Description
This book deals with the thorny issue of human rights in different cultures and religions, especially in the light of bioethical issues. In this book, experts from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Daoism, Hinduism and Confucianism discuss the tension between their religious traditions and the claim of universality of human rights. The East-West contrast is particularly evident with regards to human rights. Some writers find the human rights language too individualistic and it is foreign to major religions where the self does not exist in isolation, but is normally immersed in a web of relations and duties towards family, friends, religion community, and society. Is the human rights discourse a predominantly Western liberal ideal, which in bioethics is translated to mean autonomy and free choice? In today’s democratic societies, laws have been drafted to protect individuals and communities against slavery, discrimination, torture or genocide. Yet, it appears unclear at what moment universal rights supersede respect for cultural diversity and pluralism. This collection of articles demonstrates a rich spectrum of positions among different religions, as they confront the ever more pressing issues of bioethics and human rights in the modern world. This book is intended for those interested in the contemporary debates on religious ethics, human rights, bioethics, cultural diversity and multiculturalism.
